Who We Are

Fairfax County Public Schools, Adult Education Center, welcomes volunteers to get involved in several areas.  Examples of opportunities include: 

  • Adult English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) - Jennifer Beilke can provide more information.
  • Business and Community Partnership 
  • Citizen Advisory Committees 
  • Family Members can volunteer at a school
  • Mentor a student

Free training opportunities to community volunteer ESOL teachers are held at locations throughout Fairfax County, usually on Saturday mornings from 9:30- 11:30 a.m. Advanced reservations are required.
