Who We Are
Teddy Bear Program established in Orange County Sheriff's Office. Volunteers needed to collect or donate stuffed animals, clean and sanitize them to be given out at a crime scene by a deputy or investigator to a senior in distress.
This program helps the senior citizens to relate to the uniformed officer as a friend and not someone to fear. The comfort they receive from this stuffed animal helps them to feel someone cares and that they are being cared for in a way that they can see and feel. Donations of stuffed animals is always accepted and appreciated.
