Who We Are
Volunteers are a big part of Menchville House. Volunteers positions:
- Clerical, including bulk mailings;
- Transportation;
- Case Manager Assistants;
- Financial planning;
- Childcare (evenings); Landscaping;
- Computer instructors;
- General maintenance and repair;
- Fundraising;
- Grant-writing;
- Job readiness Coaches.
- Volunteers can assist children 3-5 years of age with reading readiness activities and childcare and mentor or tutor school-aged youth. Prefer female volunteers. Greatest need for volunteers is Monday nights 6-8:30pm assisting children.
Groups are welcome to prepare and serve dinner for residents through the Dinner program. Call for details.
