Volunteer Opportunities

Get Connected is a resource that enables volunteers to match their skills, goals, and availability with the needs and volunteer opportunities throughout the Central Virginia Region 2000 – the 2,000 square miles around Lynchburg, Virginia.  Volunteering strengthens the community and allows the nonprofits to provide the services to enrich the lives of our residents.  Get Connected is a web-based tool that will aid the non-profits and volunteers to make the best, most efficient use of all parties’ time to best meet the needs of those we serve.



The website provides a list of volunteer opportunities, a map of volunteer sites, a calendar, registration for volunteering, and sign-up for email updates to automatically let you know of any new or matching opportunities.
