Founders Forest offers single-level homes designed for active, independent seniors aged 60 and older.
Set on 220 acres in Blacksburg, Virginia, Founders Forest offers townhomes featuring two bedrooms and two baths in open floor plans ranging from 1080 to 1561 square feet. Some homes have a den, garage, eat-in kitchen, and mud room. Townhome residents pay a monthly service fee that covers interior and exterior maintenance, snow and trash removal, water, sewer, trash collection, pest control, outside lighting of walkways, evening security, maintenance of home appliances, ground maintenance, and response to individual emergency call systems.
Founders Forest offers 115 independent single-level attached homes and is part of the continuum of care offered at Warm Hearth Village retirement community. Residents pay a Life-lease fee at occupancy based on the neighborhood and floor plan selected. A minimum of 40% of the Life-lease fee is returned to the resident or his/her estate.
Residents have access to Village services such as priority to future health care, therapies, dining, transportation, housekeeping, and planned social, cultural, and spiritual events.
