Who We Are
Portsmouth Sheriff's Office participates in TRIAD by implementing activities designed to reduce the level of criminal victimization as it impacts senior citizens. TRIAD is a partnership among law enforcement agencies, senior service agencies and senior citizens.
TRIAD meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 1:00PM at Effingham Plaza Community Room, 715 Marshall Street, Portsmouth, Virginia 23704.
A major purpose of Triad is to develop, expand and implement effective crime prevention and education programs for older Virginians. Triad works to improve the quality of life for seniors by providing an active exchange of information between local law enforcement and seniors.
