Who We Are
Volunteers are needed to work one-on-one with clients providing counseling and support, work with children, speak to community groups, provide transportation, assist staff at The Shelter, teach non-violent parenting skills, provide advocacy, serve on board committees and operation educational and craft booth. Accessibility: Fully handicapped accessible. Opportunities available for individuals or groups.
Volunteer Opportunities include Hotline coverage, Event coverage, Grocery and General shopping, Donation collection - sorting, Newsletter assistance, Fundraising, Office help, Brochure distribution, Client advocates and Moving Assistance.
Abuse Alternatives, Inc. also offers public speakers for groups and club functions. Office Hours: Monday-Friday 9 AM to 5 PM; Service hours: 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
