Who We Are

Shenandoah Valley Department of Social Services, Waynesboro office, offers information about benefit programs and services available to residents.  Programs facilitate a wide variety of governmental assistance, as well as adult and child protective services, to those qualified and in need of services. Provides temporary assistance to eligible needy families and food stamp recipients with services to enable them to become employed.

Services are designed to allow the adults to remain in their own homes as long as possible and to enable them to function as independently as possible. Adults are the focus of the service delivery and the worker preserves and protects their right to make their own choices.
