Who We Are
Dedicated volunteers are needed to help people with disabilities at Cloverleaf Equine Center, formerly the Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program. Volunteers are needed for sidewalkers, fundraising, stable maintenance, and horse leaders.
Horse leaders and sidewalkers help with lessons. Volunteers commit to one day (approximately 3 hours) per week for the 8-12 week session. Training is provided and horse experience is valued but not required.
The program offers equine-assisted activities to children and adults with disabilities (those who are challenged physically, cognitively, and emotionally).
