Personal Travel Aides for Medical Appointments

Home Care Partners offers aides who can accompany Arlington and Alexandria residents to non urgent medical appointments. The individual arranges transportation for themselves and the Aide through STAR, Senior Taxi or other transportation provider. The Aide will help the individual get ready for the health care appointment, go in the vehicle with the individual, stay at the appointment, provide personal care, if needed, accompany them back home to get the individual settled. The Aide may carry reports to community service providers, family caregivers and others as appropriate.



The Aide can also provide translation in some cases.
