Who We Are

Bedford Domestic Violence Services offers many volunteer opportunities for organizations, civic

groups, and church groups to complete special projects such as:

• adopt-a-room

• gardening

• hosting a birthday party

• organizing food, toiletry, or cell phone drives

• supporting fundraising events

• using your group’s individual skills

Volunteers/interns are always welcome to join our staff. In order to become a volunteer/intern you must first fill out an application and submit it to our program. Someone from our program will contact you.

Level Two, for volunteers expected to have minimal client contact, 20 hours of training required Examples of volunteer work: public awareness volunteers, child care providers, children’s activities.

Level Three, for volunteers interested in providing direct client services, 32 hours of training required
