Volunteer Opportunities, Adopt-A-Home

Rush Lifetime Homes' Adopt-A-Home program provides opportunities for groups and individuals to support the organization by providing quarterly work sessions to do things like planting flowers, pulling up weeds, painting porches, staining decks, cleaning out gutters - basically whatever the home needs at that time. We have even had a group decorate their adopted home for Christmas! Most of our tenants have disabilities that prevent them from being able to complete these basic tasks. Your partnership through the Adopt-A-Home program allows us to save our limited maintenance funds for major repairs.



Many other volunteers opportunities are available such as:

• Picking up litter in the neighborhoods surrounding our homes
• Joining a committee
• Providing general office support such as answering phones, assisting with mailings, etc.
• Assisting our staff with the tenant support programs and activities
• Becoming a table captain at our Dream Builder’s Luncheon
