Who We Are
The Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB) offers volunteer and student training opportunities that can make a world of difference to people in our community. The Board partners with individuals, families and the community to empower and support Fairfax-Falls Church residents with or at risk of developmental delay, intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and alcohol or drug abuse or dependency.
The Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board provides vital services for more than 20,000 people of all ages with mental illness, substance use disorders, intellectual disabilities, and for young children with developmental delays in Fairfax County and the Cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The Board offers outreach and training to increase public knowledge and awareness.
Volunteer and interns are valued team members, helping to expand and enhance our services which promote recovery and empowerment. Opportunities include providing direct service, offering administrative support, or helping with special projects.
As a VIVA Partner volunteer or intern, individuals receive training and supervision in an environment rich with opportunities for professional and personal growth including service to people working toward recovery.
Flexible times and days are available, including some evening and weekend opportunities, as well as regular weekday hours. Positions are available throughout Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church.
