Socialization, Senior Citizens Club

Ballou Recreation Center offers individuals age 50+ socialization time.  Senior Citizens Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 12:00 pm for a covered dish luncheon meeting.  No fee.  Call the office for more details.

Learn to play piano, ping pong, Billiards, Tennis, crafts, etc. Call to get schedule for each month.

Some of the activities could be a jamming session each for music, singing and fun; Bingo; Wednesday fellowship group; knitters group; and more. Card Club: Various Card games are played by the 50+ crowd which provide fun time for all who participate.

Choir: The Ballou Recreation Choir goes out into the community nursing homes, local Piedmont Mall for special events, and special programs at the center. Going out into the community to sing to those who, are confined to one area for entertainment, fellowship and service to others. There is no fee.
