Who We Are
Build United provides home rehabilitation and modification services to homeowners in need; projects that improve the home’s safety, access or weatherization. Our goal is to preserve and revitalize houses and communities, assuring that low-income homeowners, from the elderly and disabled to families with children, live in warmth, safety, and independence.
Rental units are not eligible; free to low-income homeowners. We usually have time for 15-20 clients per year. Volunteers are welcome.
We work with Social Services, Valley Associates for Independent Living, and Valley Program for Aging Services. Most of the clients we serve are elderly and/or have a disability.
