Alzheimer's/Dementia Unit, The Garden at Bay Lake

The Garden at Bay Lake is located on Shore Drive in Virginia Beach, near the beaches of the Chesapeake Bay. Bay Lake Retirement and Assisted Living Facility has a secure special care unit with private apartments for individuals with memory impairment, dementia, and Alzheimer's.  Inspiritás is the Memory Care Signature program. Inspiritás is a holistic program designed for residents with dementia or memory impairment while maintaining their safety and comfort.

Services include 24-hour nursing services, activities, a fine dining experience, three meals daily with a choice of entrees, an on-site hair salon, as well as telephone and cable TV. The program is specifically designed to address the unique needs of individuals with dementia and promote their optimum independence.
