LISC Virginia, formerly Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), has been working with community development corporations and a variety of other partners, to rebuild neighborhoods. Helping neighbors build healthy and sustainable communities homes of choice and opportunity; good places to work, do business, and raise children.
LISC mobilizes corporate, government, and philanthropic support to provide local community development organizations with:

- Project development technical assistance
- Managerial consulting services
- Local, statewide, and national policy support
