Administrative Office

Bland County Department of Social Services provides state-supervised locally administered programs to citizens of Bland County.  The agency provides residents the opportunity to be evaluated for eligibility for participation in assistance programs and in receiving direct services.

Some programs available are adult services, adult protective services, pre-screening for nursing facilities, child care assistance, child protective services, daycare provider information, energy assistance program, food stamps, foster care services, general relief, auxiliary grants, state and local hospitalization, Cardinal Care Medicaid eligibility, Cardinal Care Medicaid long term care, TANF, and VIEW.
