Who We Are
Smithfield Police Department participates in Community Help in Progress (CHIP). CHIP is a grass roots effort to forge a partnership between the Smithfield Police Department and members of the local community. Its mission is to identify and apply problem solving solutions, using prevention services to improve the security and quality of life in the community.
CHIP meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 4:3 pm at the Smithfield Police Department, 913 South Church Street in Smithfield. Attend a meeting and find out more about how you can become involved.
