Who We Are

Alexandria Department of Community and Human Services provides a wide range of supportive/rehabilitative services and financial assistance to needy and eligible children, families, adults, and senior citizens. Serves the diverse needs of Alexandria's citizens by promoting economic and social independence and self-sufficiency. The Department is organized into four divisions: Operations, Family Services, JobLink, and Community Programs.
