Who We Are

Administrative office for Suffolk  Department of Social Services. Sponsors social service programs such as Cardinal Care Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Food Stamps, Foster Care, Fuel Assistance, and Tax Relief for needy, elderly, and disabled residents of Suffolk.  The mission of the Virginia Social Services network is to help people triumph over poverty, abuse and neglect, and to shape strong futures for themselves, their families, and their community.
