Who We Are
Norfolk Police Community policing, along with an effective process for receiving and handling complaints, gives us the opportunity to stay connected with our citizens and to know what quality of life really means in our communities. For citizens, community policing increases public security and reduces the fear of crime. For police officers, community policing helps to reconnect them with communities and increases their visibility, another benefit for citizens.
