Visual Impairment

The Low Vision Center of Maryland offers an optometry practice with a mission to provide your family's vision care needs.  The offices of Dr Jacalyn R. Ely and Dr. Sanford Cohen offer comprehensive vision exams, contact lenses exams and fittings, developmental vision exams, vision therapy, low vision treatment, computer vision exams, and eyeglasses frames and lens selections.

Licensed optometrists provide treatment to persons with visual impairment caused by macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts and other causes. Also offers assistive devices such as custom-made microscopes and telescopes as well as hand-held magnifiers. Also carries filter and prism lenses.
