Who We Are

The Victim Services Division (VSD) was started to ensure that rights of crime victims are protected. Free services are available to help victims cope with the trauma. VSD provides 

  • ​Assist with filing Virginia Victims' Fund claims
  • Assistance with Protective Order process
  • Assistance with confidentiality and notification requests
  • Resources and referrals
  • Court advocacy, preparation, and accompaniment
  • Assistance with Victim Impact Statements
