Who We Are

Shepherd's Center of Northern Virginia (SCNOVA) offers a HandyHelpers service.   Volunteers perform minor home repairs to help keep the house safe and livable.  If you need help with small maintenance projects (minor carpentry work, simple plumbing and electrical repairs, and small painting jobs), call our office and a handy helper volunteer will contact you to discuss your needs.  There is no labor charge but you must pay for all required materials.

We also can help you plan your process of downsizing/decluttering your belongings, sorting and separating items that stay or move with you, items to sell, donate or discard. You can get results with less stress!
