Who We Are
Madison County Sheriff's Office participates in TRIAD. TRIAD is a partnership between the Madison County Sheriff's Office and members from county agencies who provide services to seniors, and senior citizens residing in Madison County. It is a concept of cooperation to reduce criminal victimization of the elderly. The partnership addresses crime issues which affect older citizens and to enhance delivery of law enforcement services to these citizens.
Programs have been designed to educate seniors on fraud and scams, and general crime prevention techniques. Being free from crime and unwarranted fear of crime is essential to senior citizens' independence and quality of life. Other TRIAD programs have centered on safety issues as well as providing education in many topics involving senior issues.
