Who We Are

The Herndon Harbor Adult Day Health Care Program is designed to provide daycare to frail elderly and adults with disabilities or dementia who need a supervised setting during the day due to changes in their cognitive and or functional abilities. The program provides health monitoring by a Registered Nurse, therapeutic activities designed by a Certified Recreation Therapist to include field trips and entertainment, assistance with personal care, and nutritious meals and snacks. Non-ambulatory participants are welcome. The capacity is 45.

Transportation is available by FASTRAN. Minimum attendance is two days per week, six hours per day. Offers a monthly evening support group for caregivers.  The centers are licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services. Member of the Virginia Adult Day Services Association (VADSA).
