Who We Are
Downtown Community Ministry (DCM) is a group of churches that provides food and resources to the homeless, working poor, and anyone in need. Church members include
- Centenary United Methodist Church www.centumc.org/,
- St. Paul's Episcopal Church www.stpauls-episcopal.org,
- Second Presbyterian Church www.2presrichmond.org/,
- St. Peter's Catholic Church,
- Third Street Bethel AME Church.
Emmaus is the lunch ministry of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, which takes place on Thursdays from 10:30 am until 1 pm. Volunteers currently offer a bag lunch. It is unknown when the prepared lunch will resume. There are representatives from the local Department of Social Services and Richmond Behavioral Health Authority are available to help individuals who have special needs.
St. Paul's also partners with Liberation Family Services to provide and serve a hot dinner to homeless veterans at their Hull Street location.
