Who We Are

Home modification (Home Mod program) is available to disabled homeowners, as well as the elderly. Volunteers can build ramps, install lever doorknobs and toggle light switches, install grab bars, tub seats, and hand-held showers, and work on other home modifications to allow these homeowners to safely age in place.

Homeowners must be low-income and elderly, disabled, or families with children and unable to do the work themselves. Families are referred through churches, synagogues, community organizations, and service groups, or by self-referral.

Rebuilding Together*Tri-Cities is a neighborhood revitalization program and is affiliated with Rebuilding Together, the national volunteer organization to revitalize low-income houses and communities. Repairs are not done on rental property or mobile homes.

Service area includes Ettrick/Matoaca.  Call for more information.
