The Emergency Home Repair Program improves housing conditions and opportunities for low and very low-income Virginians. The program provides funds to remove imminent health and safety hazards, and/or barriers to habitability in their homes. Eligible applicants receive one-time assistance.
Eligible repairs can include plumbing, structural, electrical, roofing, wheelchair ramps, and handicapped accessible appliances. This program allows roofing work to be done.
