Community Outreach Programs

Albemarle County Police Department participates in Crime Prevention Partner program.  The Crime Prevent Partner program serves multi-families communities in the county.  Participating property managers have an open line of communication with the Police Department to deter and detect crime. Other community programs are volunteer programs such as Citizens Police Academy, Explorers Post Program, Neighborhood Watch and other community outreach programs. Residents are encouraged to determine which program is best suited for your particular need and join the Police Department as it strives to make our county one of the safest in Virginia.
