Gum Springs Glen, located in the historic Gum Springs area of Fairfax County, offers affordable retirement living to seniors, age 62 and older, with moderate incomes. Designed for the active lifestyles of residents, each building features attractively appointed and spacious common areas for entertaining and socializing. Gum Springs Glen with two residential buildings will provide 60 one-bedroom apartments in two buildings.



Safety features include grab bars in the bathroom, deadbolt locks, door peepholes, smoke detectors, and sprinkler systems, access to a personal emergency response system, and wheelchair-accessible passageways throughout the community. Gas and electric utilities are included in the rent.



Each building has laundry rooms on each floor, exercise rooms, a lounge, and a gated courtyard.



Persons with Housing Choice Vouchers will be considered. There is a priority system: 1st - 6 units reserved for residents of Gum Springs; 2nd - persons reserved for persons who live/work in Fairfax County and then persons who have immediate family in Fairfax County. The last priority is adults who do not meet the above criteria.
