Who We Are

The Arboretum has a place for volunteers from the community who want to provide gardening related labor in partnership with Arboretum professionals. Gardener volunteers can work as a team of 2 with a student volunteer and enjoy relationship growth while gardening together in the Arboretum. Or Gardener volunteers can partner with the Arboretum as a group or club on a regular assigned monthly or weekly schedule. The Arboretum director has many new and exciting projects where senior volunteers can be and feel important, included, and make a visible difference in their Harrisonburg community. Be part of the Arboretum team and spend time making a difference in the region's favorite location for relaxation and serenity!
