Who We Are
Renewing Home of Greater Augusta is a community-based organization dependent upon the community for funding and volunteers to fulfill the mission. Services include critical home repairs and modifications necessary to maintain the integrity of the home, including roof repair or replacements, repair to structural damage, wheelchair ramps, accessibility modifications, and general repairs.
Requests for service are received from the local social service agencies, churches, individuals, and local government agencies.
The mission is to accomplish, at no cost to the homeowner, critical home repairs and modifications for elderly, disadvantaged, and disabled homeowners of Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta county.

Intake Process
1) Homeowner requests, completes and submits RTG Aapplicaiton. 2) RTGA volunteers make home visit, prepare work scope. 3) RTGA Board evaluates project, determines to accept or not. 4) If accepted, RTGA seeks resources to execute project.
