Who We Are

The Emergency Home and Accessibility Repair Program (EHARP) provides funds to remove urgent, emergency health and safety hazards, and it also addresses physical accessibility barriers for low-income Virginians. Assistance is available to occupants from local nonprofit organizations based on income. Eligible repairs can include plumbing, structural, electrical, roofing, wheelchair ramps, and handicapped-accessible appliances. The program is at no cost to the client.
