Lakewood is a Life Plan Community, also known as a continuing care retirement community with independent living, assisted living, and nursing care. Independent Living offers studios, one and two-bedroom apartments, villas, or cottages. Some of the services and amenities included in the monthly fee are a flexible dining plan, housekeeping every other week, maintenance of grounds and all community-owned appliances, security, an urgent call system, a fitness center, scheduled transportation for shopping, special event trips, and medical appointments scheduled through the clinic.
