Who We Are
Rebuilding Together, with the help of everyday citizens, skilled tradespeople, local businesses and major corporate partners, has provided extensive home rehabilitation and modification services to low-income homeowners across the country for over 25 years.
Repairs can include anything from minor work (installing a shower grab bar/tubseat/hand held shower, changing doorknobs to lever type, adding toggle light switches) to major work (replacing doors, installing handicap ramps, repairing siding, replacing gutters). Recipients must be resident homeowners (no rentals), low-income and unable to do the work themselves because of financial reasons and/or lack of skills. Clients are referred through churches, synagogues, community organizations and service groups, or by self-referral.
