Kindred at Home

Kindred at Home Hospice services are offered to all people during the end of life's journey.  Kindred treats the symptoms of an illness, as well as the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of both the patient and family. Allowing a terminally ill patient to die in peace and on his or her own terms and helping to support the family through their grief are at the core of Kindred's  beliefs.

The team of RNs, CNAs, Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers, Bereavement Counselors and Physicians specialize in caring for those with a terminal diagnosis.  Patients with many types of diagnoses are cared for, including Alzheimer's, COPD, strokes, renal failure and cancer. Ask about the 14 service standards that reflect the commitment to quality patient care.  The interdisciplinary teams of care providers serve patients in their own homes, nursing homes, long-term care or assisted living facilities or hospitals.

The goal is to process admissions within three hours of receipt of the physician’s certification 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
