Volunteer Opportunities, Galax

Volunteers are needed to assist at all levels of skill from administrative tasks to patient care to support for family members. Individuals and groups are welcome. To qualify to assist in patient care, a volunteer must undergo a rigorous training program.

Hospice services are provided to persons who have a terminal illness. Treats the physical needs of patients and their emotional and spiritual needs. Services are focused on improving quality of life and providing comfort and symptom management.
