Outpatient Behavioral Health Services

Augusta Psychological Associates provides psychiatric care and therapy for a variety of mental health issues including difficult anxiety symptoms, difficult mood symptoms, and problems managing stress, anger, and other difficult emotions. Clinicians also work with clients that that are experiencing domestic violence and issues surrounding grief and loss.

Child and adolescent clinicians work with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), autism spectrum disorder, behavioral and conduct issues, mood disorders, anxiety, transition issues, and childhood maltreatment.

Clinicians provide individual counseling and treatment for substance misuse and addiction. This treatment has a focus on harm reduction while providing counseling to address the mental health issues surrounding the patient’s alcohol or drug use.

Clinicians also offer psychological and neuropsychological testing, which includes personality and cognitive assessments. Clinicians include therapists licensed in behavioral analysis and intervention.
